I recommend to my clients to not use two different white paint colors. If you want your trim and how to be white I would do the Alabaster. If you want your trim to be a different color look at a light neutral color like tan or contrasting color. I hope this helps.

I have large trim and brand new white vynil windows. I always heard trim should match the white of the windows. IF that is the case my trim would be High reflective white with alabaster body. Would that be something you think would look good?

Whites can pick up other colors close by but Alabaster is a clean white color so unless it is next to a yellow or warm undertone then it should not real as a yellow. Another factor to consider is your lighting. If you have warm light bulbs in the entrance or hallway that may cause a yellow tone. I hope this helps! Good luck with your paint project.

Do you think that would go or would it pull a yellow tone?

Your ceiling color appears darker than it does on a paint chip. Hold the paint chip up over your head to see what I mean. But that wouldn’t stop me from using Alabaster on the ceiling. I would also consider Ceiling Bright White. It is a brighter white but when on a ceiling it will look a tiny bit darker.

I would use the same white – Alabaster unless you are using a different color altogether. But if you want your trim and walls to be white I would use the same white.

The same? Or a different white shade? I used to cringe mixing whites, but I see it’s an accepted thing. Please help if you can!
